EnglishNY.org helps adults in New York apply for free English classes and ESL learning opportunities. Students can request information about free English classes, practice speaking, reading, writing, workplace English, and prepare for daily life, work, school, or citizenship.
Classes may be available in person or online, depending on eligibility, schedule, location, and placement. EnglishNY.org also offers an online English Trainer tool where students can practice English skills between classes.
Important: Submitting an application does not guarantee enrollment or a confirmed appointment. An administrator may contact applicants by phone, SMS, or email to confirm information and schedule an interview, registration, or placement appointment. Some students may need to visit the office even if they plan to study online.
